This one was surprisingly fun! It’s not a book I would have normally picked up, but I needed a title that started with Z for my #LitsyAtoZ challenge, and this one was a free Kindle download, so I figured, what the heck?
A bit of a spoof, the character has a wry humor and strong pinch of the absurd, but it works. I laughed aloud several times. I actually thoroughly enjoyed the story, and it’s so short, I almost wanted more. Good thing this is the first in a series. I might even check out the second novella. 4.5 stars.
