This book had promise. It promised to be psychological suspense. It failed.

There was never any mystery, except when the suspense would begin. What it ended up being was a woman’s midlife crisis, journey of self-discovery, and romance. I don’t do romance, so to be fair, because I had no issues with the writing itself, I’ll rate it a 3.5-4. If this is your type of book, you’ll probably like it.
