This was the second of my #BlackPublishingPower purchases, and while it’s not the type of book I usually read, I have to say that I loved it! I cared about Emoni. I was rooting for her and wanted to see her succeed. The writing was at times lyrical and the flow kept me swept up in the pages. Will definitely be reading more from this author!
