This was indie?!?! A creepy, slow burning ghost story with a twist that was dark in so many different ways! Imaginative, creative, and not afraid to deal the punches, this was more than I was expecting. This book was smart! (Like seriously smart.) This escape room tale delivered everything I was hoping for and more with plenty of imagination, a high body count, and a twist that I feel like I should have seen coming but didn’t. My only complaint is that it was branded as the third book in the #murdertrending series, and a prequel at that, even though it really had nothing to do with the other two books and was more than strong enough to be a standalone.
