I was tagged by the awesome blogger Sweater Feather over at Sweaters and Raindrops. It looked like so much fun, I couldn’t resist! I’m going to kick it up a notch and see if I can’t add a book for both YA and adult readers using only books I’ve read (or re-read) in the last 3 years!

The Rules:

  • Mention the creator and link back to original post [Alexandra @ Reading by Starlight]
  • Thank the blogger who tagged you
  • Answer the 10 questions below using any genre
  • Tag 5+ friends
  • Feel free to copy the heading graphics

I enjoyed both of these, and while they aren’t set entirely on a river, a river figures prominently in both.

I’m going to have to cheat on this one – just reading a book set on a boat makes me sea sick, but both of these are set on islands – surrounded by the high sea is close, right?

I had a hard time narrowing this down to just two books – I guess I read a lot of books with an ‘eerie’ vibe!

Both of these had me singing Thriller!

I may be taking liberties here – Appalachia and the Florida Keys – but both of these were so good!

Truly Devious (Truly Devious, #1) Rebecca

I’m not sure I’ve read any books set in a castle, but if Manderley isn’t close I don’t know what is!

Snarky . . . whimsical . . . what matters is that they’re fun, right?

disney7

Both set in the mountains, yet such different tales . . .

I chose to interpret this loosely so I could use Heroine (drug culture) because it was so good. And Bear Town – if you’ve read it, you’ll know it’s another fantastic glimpse into a different type of culture!

Yeah . . . don’t read these, or anything set in space, so I picked a couple of books that were far out, wild rides!

Thanks again to Sweater Feather for the tag! In turn, I nominate, should they want to give it a try . . .
